Singapore to Host 2020 World Sport Stacking Championships

Date: Oct 02, 2018

The WSSA International Board of Directors is happy to announce that the 2020 World Championships has been awarded to WSSA Singapore!

This will be Singapore’s first time hosting the World Sport Stacking Championships, which rotates between North America, Europe and Asia every year. Singapore hosted the very first Asian Open in 2008 and again in 2011 and 2017. They were selected to host the World Championships based on their proven record of putting on high quality tournaments with experienced judges and because Singapore is a great destination for stackers and families.

“It is a joy and great privilege, to be the host for the 2020 WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships! This huge step from holding the Asian Championships to holding the World Championships reminded my team that we too, like the stackers under our care, have to be improving and striving for excellence every day and in each competition! Together let’s rock this little red dot with the amazing speed from the fastest hands around the world! Ready, Steady, Stack !”
- Director of WSSA Singapore, Allan Ong

Congratulations to WSSA Singapore for being awarded the WSSA’s most important marquee tournament!
