Hello Stackers,
We have some exciting news to share regarding Marquee Tournaments. We are going to expand our records and will now recognize the fastest times set at each of our marquee events!
Our current records are structured into "World Records", "Continental Records", and "National Records", and we will now have event specific records for "World Championships", "Junior Olympic Games", "European Championships", and "Asian Open". These records can only be set at their respective tournament by stackers in the corresponding region. Moving forward the Overall Records for each marquee tournament will be video reviewed by the WSSA and the Divisional Records will be "Verified By Tournament Judge" unless they overlap with a record type that is "Verified by The WSSA". As with all of our records these new categories will feed into our "World Records" which are the fastest times from any WSSA Sanctioned event.
These new record categories have already been populated by times set from previous tournaments and are viewable now in our Records Section - thewssa.com/records/ You will see the new "Marquee" category in the Filter dropdown.
