This year’s 2019 Junior Olympic Games will include a STACKOUT Competition featuring the Top 10 Girls and Top 10 Boys based on all-around times from Prelims-1. Competitors will be announced and seeded 1 to 10 based on their Prelims-1 times and will participate in a single elimination format taking place on the main stage. All competitors will be competing in the Cycle. Top 10 Girls will compete first followed by the Top 10 Boys.
Rules
- Stackers will begin on Head Judges cadence “Stackers Ready, Get Set, GO!”
- Stackers will be eliminated according to slowest stacker of each run OR if a stacker scratches
- If stacker inadvertently resets timer = Automatic Disqualification
- Interference: intentional or unintentional = Automatic Disqualification
- If announced competitor does not show by start of competition, he or she is disqualified from STACKOUT
- If a tie, tie stackers stack in sudden death to determine winner. Losing stacker is out, while winning stacker continues in STACKOUT
- In the event multiple stackers scratch, all scratched stackers will go to sudden death scenario to determine winner(s). Example: if in the opening round, three stackers scratch, those three stackers will compete against one another in sudden death round to determine who continues in STACKOUT
- Once you are eliminated, please step out from the competition table and join the audience
- Awards will go to the Top 3 Girls and Top 3 Boys immediately following the STACKOUT competition
