The 2018 Junior Olympic Games are off to a great start with a busy day of Individual and team events. We started the day with Opening Ceremonies and the presentation on the Joel Ferrell Award that went to Melissa Gomez, a veteran stacker and great ambassador for Sport Stacking. The crowd also enjoyed the entertainment from the Jump Rope Team from Virginia as they showed off some amazing skills.
Round 1 of Individual Prelims are complete. We saw top stackers set some great times including William Polly's return to Sport Stacking which has him in hot pursuit of another championship run. The finals for Doubles and Timed 3-6-3 were completed today and many kids walked out with big smiles and lots of Medals! For all of today's times please check out the Day 1 Results. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and good luck to all the stackers. We also want to thank the parents and athletes for making this first day of the Junior Olympic Games an exciting day for all, without your commitment to get your stackers here and help with coaching this event would not happened so THANK YOU!
Just a quick reminder that Stack off Champions is an event you don’t want to miss, so make sure you are back at the venue by 2pm on Saturday. There will be more fast stacking and great entertainment from our "give away" crew, so don’t miss it!
