The success of the AAU Junior Olympic Games Sport Stacking Championships relies greatly on the volunteers who help out at the event. With over hundreds of competitors, we need about 50 volunteers! In most cases, no particular experience is necessary, just some enthusiasm and a willingness to help!
Volunteers receive FREE Admission!
All-day Volunteers also receive breakfast and/or lunch and a AAU Junior Olympic Games T-shirt!
We have a variety of jobs including:
- Judges - Work in teams to officiate the Stacking Competition. This is a 2 day commitment (Saturday and Sunday) plus training on Thursday evening. Judges receive admission and meals.
- Camera Operators - Operate video camera during finals. Shifts available Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Training provided.
- Runners - Run time sheets and supplies to officials. Shifts available Saturday and Sunday morning.
- Give It A Go! Stack Zone Station Leaders - Work with another leader and manage an interactive Stacking Station. Think of it as running a carnival booth. No experience necessary. Shifts available Saturday and Sunday.
- Set-up and Clean-up Crew - Help set up on Thursday and help clean up on Sunday.
